Abstract

From the current reality, a question arises, what is the view of the Bible as the highest authority for sexual orientation deviations and what is the role of the church for personal sexual orientation deviations. To find out more clearly, this material will discuss "What the Bible Says About LGBTQ." This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study method and a descriptivebibliological method, in an effort to solve the solutions that occur. The bibliological method is an attempt by researchers to form understanding, understanding and theological insights based on or sourced from the Bible. God designed sexuality to be expressed through the interaction of two individuals of different sexes in marriage. The Lord Jesus himself made the statement in Genesis 2:24 a normativity
regarding marriage in Matthew 19:4-6 Mark 10:6-9. Christian marriage is heterosexual, monogamous, and lifelong (Genesis 1:27 2:23-24 and Matthew 19:6). The story of the marriage in the garden of Eden has provided the basis for the rule of correct sexuality. LGBTQ is a reflection of a world that has been corrupted because it is polluted by sin. LGBT practices are an abomination to God. The church has a vital role for pastoral assistance to LGBT people. The church must not support LGBT people in carrying out propaganda that homosexuality is normal and natural behavior.
